SLA Students Shine at AAAL Conference in Texas

Discover the research presented by our students and faculty at the 2024 American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) conference in Houston, TX.

This spring, four graduate students and one faculty member in the department of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) presented their research at the 29th Annual meeting of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) in Houston, Texas. Each presentation covered a distinct area of applied linguistics research, offering valuable dedication to participants attending the major conference.

These presentations represent the department’s support for advancing applied linguistics research, and also tap into the innovative research being conducted by SLA students in the department. They reflect the department’s commitment to preparing leaders in language teaching and learning through excellence in research.
