Student Projects
Through coursework and cultural workshops, Persian Flagship students produce a number of projects ranging from art to research. Below are some samples of what our students have created.
Roshangar
The Roshan Undergraduate Persian Studies Journal is a project initiated by the Roshan Undergraduate Ambassadors and several Persian Flagship students as part of the University of Maryland’s Persian Studies program. Companion to the journal is the Roshangar website which draws from and reflects on our diverse academic and ethnic backgrounds as well as our broad range of experiences with Persian culture. The open-access nature of Roshangar is intended to encourage and support undergraduate research in Persian Studies across a range of academic disciplines and professional fields.
