Hervé-Thomas Campangne in the Department of French and Italian was awarded the Nancy Lyman Roelker Prize.
On October 17th, 2019, Hervé-Thomas Campangne in the Department of French and Italian was awarded the Nancy Lyman Roelker Prize. The prize is awarded annually for the best article published in English on sixteenth-century French history during the preceding calendar year, by the Sixteenth Century Society. Professor Campangne's article, which appeared in Renaissance Quarterly (Spring 2018), is titled "Framing the early modern best seller: American settings for Belleforest's Histoires tragiques."
