Gregoire's academic interests include the experience and representation of deafness in both peninsular Spanish and French literature in the periods spanning the 15th-19th centuries. He hails from Cameroon and holds a M.A. in Spanish languages and literatures from Texas State University-San Marcos, and a M.S. in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education from Lamar University of Beaumont, TX. He is currently an instructor of French and Spanish at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., having previously been a high school Spanish teacher at Texas School for the Deaf. Other than being a fútbol aficionado, he enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and connecting with Deaf communities around the world.
