UMD French Professor, Dr. Hervé-Thomas Campangne was published in the Spring 2018 edition, Vol. 71.1, pp.77-113 of the Renaissance Quarterly. His article "Framing the Early Modern French Best Seller: American Settings for François de Belleforest’s Tragic Histories" focuses on the historical and geographical sources found in Belleforest's histoire tragique novels.
