The German Studies program congratulates Caroline Pugh

Delta Phi Alpha, seeks to recognize excellence in the study of German and to provide an incentive for higher scholarship and Caroline Pugh, a German Studies major, embodies this excellence. She was recently awarded a highly competitive Delta Phi Alpha National German Honorary Society study abroad scholarship for Spring 2022! Caroline plans to spend her semester studying at the Freie Universität Berlin, but before she starts her studies, she hopes to complete a Pflegepraktikum (nursing internship) at a local hospital in Berlin. The prospect of attending a German university experience and thought-provoking humanities courses taught in German excites her.
