Born in Quito-Ecuador, Andrea is a Ph.D. student. She has a BA in Literature from Universidad de las Artes (Guayaquil). She has walked through many paths from Sociology to Interdisciplinary Arts. For around 15 years, she has worked in the publishing area as a proofreader and copy editor. In the cultural field, she has collaborated with artists from several backgrounds. Her areas of interest focus on the intersections between literature, philosophy, and science; also include women's writing, sociolinguistics, and glotopolitics. Her literary work (poetry, narrative, essay) has appeared in several anthologies. She has published articles and translations in print and digital media.
